Chief Executive Officer & Founder
Rob Ponger founded Perfect Game Softball with a vision to create the most comprehensive platform for high school softball recruiting and development. With over 25 years of experience in sports management and technology, Rob has led the organization's growth from a regional showcase series to the nation's leading softball recruiting network. His commitment to player development and college placement has helped thousands of athletes achieve their dreams of playing collegiate softball. Under his leadership, PG Softball has established partnerships with over 800 college programs nationwide.
Rick Thurman
President & Chief Operating Officer
Rick Thurman brings three decades of operational excellence to Perfect Game Softball. As President and COO, Rick oversees all tournament operations, technology development, and strategic partnerships. His background in sports administration and event management has been instrumental in scaling PG Softball's tournament series to over 200 events annually across 35 states. Rick's expertise in data analytics and player evaluation systems has revolutionized how college coaches identify and recruit talent. Darren Larsen
Vice President of Player Development
Darren Larsen is a former collegiate softball coach who transitioned his passion for player development into building PG Softball's comprehensive training and evaluation programs. With 20 years of coaching experience at the Division I level, Darren understands what college programs are looking for in recruits. He oversees all showcase events, combine programming, and player evaluation metrics. Vice President of College Relations
